Aston Martin DBS sold for almost $1 million

A yellow 1970's DBS that was featured in the 'Persuaders' TV-show sold at the record price of $897,347 at this weekend's 15th annual Bonhams Aston Martin Sale in the UK.

The car was put out for sale at the auction for the first time in 40 years, after appearing in the action series 'Persuaders', alongside its co-star, a red Ferrari Dino 246GT.

The auction attracted 2,500 people but biddings were made from all over the globe.

The 50 cars put out for sale raised a total of $13.6 million.
