According to Bloomberg's 2014 rich-list, Amancio Ortega is the richest man in Europe. He is the largest shareholder at Inditex, the world's largest clothing retailer and the parent of Zara fashion. His fortune is estimated at 62 billion dollars.
He is also the first European in the chart. The second one comes from Sweden. His name is Ingvar Kamprad and he is also in the retail business. Kamprad controls Ikea, the largest furniture retailer in the world. His fortune is estimated close to 47 billion dollars.
The richest man in Italy makes...chocolate. Michele Ferrero has clinched the 28th spot on the world's richest men according to Bloomeberg's 2014 rich-list. Ferrero is the owner of one of the biggest chocolate maker company in the world. His company makes the famous Kinder, Nutella and Ferrero Rocher chocolates. Allegedly, his fortune is worth shy above 18 billion euros.
According to Bloomberg's rich-list the top three is composed of Bill Gates, Carlos Slim and Warren Buffet. These three men combine for a total of 220 billion US dollars.
