$30k gold nugget stolen from school
A half a pound gold nugget, worth approximately $30,000, has disappeared from the University of Arizona's Mineral Museum.
The rock went missing from an office where it was stored.
It was the museum's most popular attraction due to it's size, shape and natural form.
The nugget 'is the most photographed specimen in the museum's collection because people like to have their picture taken while holding it,' said a report issued by the school.
