1m euros for a space capsule
A space capsule belonging to the Soviet era was sold in a Brussels auction for no less than 1 million euros.
After making two successful journeys into space, in 1977 and 1978, during the Soviet-era, the Vozvrashchayemyi Apparat now has a new owner, whose identity remains unknown. The capsule is equipped with navigation technology and could carry as many as three people.
Alongside the space capsule, two historic Sokol-KV2 astronaut suits, which had traveled into space, were sold for 55,000 euros and 50,000 euros, respectively. The first was worn by British-American astronaut Colin Michael Foale and the second by the Russian Alexander Kaleri.
